Protect cards for the trip.
Use sleeves and suitable protective holders for raw cards, and a secure box or binder to keep them from bending or sliding around. Keep sealed products in their original packaging and protect PSA cases from scratches during transport.
Identify what you have.
If you know them, note each card's set, card number and language. Similar-looking Pokémon cards can be different printings. Keep any notes separate from the cards; do not write on a card or attach a label to it. You do not need to know a card's value to ask the store a question.
Keep the categories separate.
Group raw cards, sealed products and PSA slabs separately so you can discuss each category clearly. For graded cards, we only buy PSA. The raw singles and sealed product rates do not apply to PSA slabs.
